Have you ever wondered why the store bought cheese never sticks together? When you shred cheese at home and then put it in a bag or container, very often it sticks together into a ball.
All you need to do is sprinkle a little flour over your freshly grated cheese, toss and then freeze. NO MORE STICKY CHEESE!
I used 3 teaspoons of flour for 500g of shredded cheese.
If you can't use flour, try a little corn starch.
This week there is a great deal on Black Diamond cheese blocks, so I will be shredding and freezing for pizza, casserole and soups.
